Before you install

• macOS 14 or later
• Apple silicon or Intel Mac
• A standard macOS user account with permission to install apps
• Automation permission only for the browser and Xcode features you choose

Install ResumePoint

   Download from your order

   After purchase, use the download link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt or order page. Avoid copies hosted by third parties.

   Open the package

   Open the downloaded ZIP or DMG, then move ResumePoint to Applications.

   Launch ResumePoint

   Open it from Applications. The menu-bar icon appears without adding a Dock icon.

   Choose browser access

   Review the disclosure before enabling Chrome or Safari capture. macOS asks for Automation permission when it is first needed.

Automation permission

ResumePoint uses Automation to identify and restore Chrome or Safari tabs and Xcode workspaces. It does not need Accessibility or Screen Recording permission.

If you denied a request, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation, allow the relevant app for ResumePoint, then return to ResumePoint Settings and enable capture again.

If the download fails

   Open your order again

   Use the download link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt or order page and confirm you have free disk space.

   Retry the official file

   Delete an incomplete download, then download a fresh copy from your order.

   Do not bypass Gatekeeper

   If macOS reports the app as damaged or unverified, delete it and download a fresh copy from your order.

   Report the problem

   Include the ResumePoint version, macOS version, and the exact error message—but never include checkpoint text, URLs, or file paths.

Uninstall completely
